Performance Chip?

I found this on ebay the other day and was wondering if it's just a scam or if it really works. I don't think it'll give +20h.p. but for how cheap it is i'd take any performance gain. Performance Chip

Its actually, for the money, an ok deal, i bought one for like 10 bucks (with shipping) and id say im glad i did
You notice small gains here and there, and this odd engine change when you stomp it in certain areas, but you pretty much watch your fuel go down too, all in all its a plus for me

Yes from what i read from the feedback, people had mixed opinions on it. For some it worked, and for some it didn't. Maybe running higher octane in it helped because it raises the timing?

Doesn't that thing just put the ECU into "open-loop" mode as if you were wide open throttle 24/7? No wonder you watch your gas go... car sees your throttle now as an on/off switch instead of linear!

Good game electronics 101

Oh and, common sense kills this one right away: +20hp for $3.00?

SURE PAL.

its a P.O.S. timing resistor than you can buy at radioshack for like a dollar. I don't think it works at all.
