No One said the Blitz was cheap. It is probably one of the most expensive exhausts that are made. Retails about 600 or so. so it comes in two pieces which is the only cheap thing about it because it makes it easier to ship that way, the only down side is that it could lead to a point of failure.

You know how I roll. I'll rather wait and get the good stuff before i get the cheap stuff, hence like what we talked about today regarding suspension.

Here's a question....I just got a 89 240sx. Its an 4 cylinder auto. (go ahead tease me) I would like to get an exhaust that isnt super high performance (whats the point unless i do a swap?) but will add just a little bit of a boost to the car and make it sound better. Something cheap yet reliable...any suggestions?

I would say wait either until you do the swap or get a good one now, don't pay twice for something that you can pay for once. Learn from my mistakes of paying for things twice.

You can run around with your turbo muffler on the car now. I would not change your exhaust unless it was broken.

You will need the money for the swap. Trust me there are plenty of things to buy.

Take the time now and don't worry about an exhaust if you are truly going for the SR. I would say get a 80mm piping exhaust with silencer, so this way you can keep it quieter on the NA and pull it off when you get the turbo. If you want to get an exhaust.

i've never heard a bad word about HKS.
but as stated earlier in the thread a one piece pipe is better.
and depending where you live you'll want good stainless.

my friend with a 93 fb has a Blitz NURSpec and it actually loses tq. im sure itd be different with an SR, but we all arent that lucky, and often times people say theyre going to get an SR but it never happens. me personally will be going with a dual N1 when i get the money.

Nothing probably against HKS, but this girl I knew had 2001 Celica GTS and she bough the Hiper and it started to rust and eventually fell apart, where the pipe meets the muffler (since its not polished there) Well this is NY and I don't know if you get some snow or not, but salt can be an issue at times.
