i haven't had any personal expirence with that short shifter but from waht i hear from people that have they all say it is good and the price is good too. They each told me that the Pilot Short Shifter is an EXACT replica of the C's short shifter. And everyone loves the C's one so why not this one ^_^ haha

i have a pilot and i like it. i wont make the KA tranny into some incredible gearbox or anything, but it does what its supposed to: shortens the shift throws. only complaint, ive missed the 2-3 shift a couple times while on the track. i dont know if its due to the shifter or not, but with short shifts its just a pop to first and GRINND.

anybody have the NISMO short shifter? And how come the B&M is so expensive? It looks nice, but doesnt seem worth the money if a less expensive(Pilot) shifter can do the same job just as well.... How can they justify being so expensive?

i have asked someone that has the B&M and they said it's worth the money, and he highly recoomends it.

I believe that one main factor that makes it a higher price is because the B&M short shifter kit doesn't only replace the Stock Shifter Rod like otehr short shifters. The B&M short shifter kit replaces the shifter rod, the top cover housing, and i read somewhere that is has some spring inside that supposed to help you shift into gears easier.

i haven't really found any reviews on the Nismo Short shifter kit but i don't you think you can go wrong with NISMO! ^_^

I've been running the pilot for 2 years now with no problems =) They even put it on my sr tranny when I swapped it and it feels just like it did on my ka with the engine not running. I haven't driven it with the pilot yet but i'll post how it is as soon as i get my car back...Thumbs up on the pilot so far, they say it's an exact copy of the c's
