Toyo tires are actually made by Nitto and are better than Nittos. Kind of like the big brother. And most Toyo tires are good.

Stan wait till the tread goes down a little, you won't be spreading that water too much, trust me on that. I had my new tires and they were awesome the first few rain storms and after putting a few miles on them, i was cleaning the road for everyone going sideways everywhere.

the better the tire the faster it goes in my case. i buy crapolla tires for my rear. i always get excited when i drive my car and tires seem to just evaporate

i just threw a set of Kuhmos on the front and some GFgoodrich 70,000 mile joints on the back. the Kuhmos are startin to wear on the edges cus i like to corner real hard and fast. the goodriches hold a little for "regular" driveng and can hold up to lots of wheel spin.

cheap and disposable. just how i like it

From 4 bald to anything with tread is a big improvement

But I prefer some taxi type tires this way they last longer. How much performance do I need in the regular road? Not much. So I will go cheap and get like 40,000 miles outta tires.

I would choose a good set of 'summer tires.' I have had great results with Yokohama A509's and A520's. I got about 25k out of the A509's and still have the A520's on the Civic.

The thing about summer tires is that you absolutely MUST have winter tires. Because regardless of rain/snow, real summer tires will not work in the cold.

I had the A509's a few years ago when we had a very cold (but not very snowy) winter. When I got out of work and tried to drive, it was like the car was on ice although the pavement was dry... used to have to take it around the building a few times to get the tires warm enough to leave.

Right now I have Kumho Ecsta's on the stock 7 spoke wheels (A509's discontinued, A520's start in 16"), and a set of Winter Slaloms mounted on a set of S12 wheels. I have to say I love them, they're not an exciting tire, but very comfortable and I have never been stuck with these. I go out looking for hills when it snows. I think they cost me ~$70/each at BJ's (that's BJ's the wholesale club - not the BJ's leif distributes freely in the subway)

I heard that the Falken Azenis are some good *** tires....really sticky plus they are about 60-70 bucks each. Supposedly, I heard that they are even better than the Advan A032's and cheaper too. Plus, it has an awesome tread pattern. I have Kuhmos and I plan on getting these Azenis when I need some new tires.

the azenis are great autox tires...
daily driven duties best be left to something with a tread rating of at least 200
