how can i tell if a nismo cam is real or not?

i have a nismo r4 and i dont know if it is real or not? ment i must b stupid....

 

it should say nismo on it. i have hks cams and they say hks on them

 

are your shure... because on the lable from the package it sayz its from nissan parts or offical parts from nissan its not a aftermarket part really and it sayz hi performance cam

im going to juss compare it to my OEM ones.... and they should be i dont know bigger? or a little different from others

I think you're confusing NISMO and Nissan Motorsports. Don't expect flashy packaging and logos from nissan motorsports. So my question is, if the package says offical parts from nissan and high performance then what's the problem?

 

I think he thought he was getting NISMO parts.

its suppost to be a nismo r4 cam... why is it from a nissan part thingy?

 

NISMO and Nissan Motorsports are two different companies. You obviously got a cam from Nissan Motorsports which won't have flashy lettering all over its boxes. Just install the cam, it's real.
