I bought the one on ebay...it was like 12 bucks so if it doesn't work, than no dissappointment here, ill let ya know in a few weeks what the verdict is...
man will it be sweet though to gain 20horses for 12 bucks, but all its doing is changing fuel/air ratio's and kicks in when the computer senses you stomping it, prolly burn a lil more fuel but owell

KA24de_510 at NICO did a $1.29 resistor mod and explained it here: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.com/fo...&threadid=1018
The people who tried it said it had slightly better response and slightly better top-end power. Definitely worth $1.29. (or $0.99)

I received the resistor like a month ago and i forgot to post about it. Well it is something you could pick up at Radio shack for 99cents, HOWEVER, you dont know the resist amount. The resistors are color coordinated so unless you can tell by the ebay picture you wouln't be able to get the one from radio shack. Also i installed it one morning on the way to school and the resuslts were about what i expected, a slight increase in power/response, and a change in high end

Now when your cruising in like 1rst or second slow, and you punch it, once my tach hits like 3000 and the computer senses the stompage, it changes the engine timing noticibly by a slight pause and then boost of power. I mean its not amazing nor should you use it against someone as having some major mod. but its awesome to have cuz it does increase your power when racing and improves high end for a cheap cost...Hope these details helped, so try it if you feel the need

It actually fixed a problem that I had with my revs droping.
When I take my foot off the gas the revs got stuck for like half a sec at about 1.8K and then went down slowly. Now the revs just drop like a normal car. To me it seems like it's running a little leaner. But I don't know.
Thanks though for the mod.

Hey I have the exact same problem with my engine reving and then slowly dropping, maybe I should give this a try too. Just to see what happens.

Resistor Value

Sorry, I meant to ask before but I am having a hard time finding the value of the resistor. I heard somewhere it is 4.7K Ohms but I would like to hear from someone who has actually tried it before I chance it. Thanks
