I BOUGHT THE CHEAP E-BAY SHIFTER AND IT WORKED LIKE ****. I HAD A HARD TIME FINDING THE HAPPY MEDIUM TO TIGHTEN IT IN. IF YOU MADE IT TO TIGHT, IT WOULD NOT SHIFT, BUT IF IT WAS TOO LOOSE, THE SHIFTER WOULD JUST SHAKE ALL AROUND AND DO WHATEVER IT WANTED TO. IT NOW SITS IN MY SHED, PART OF IT, THE OTHER I THROUGH SOMEWHERE IN THE WOODS BEHIND MY HOUSE WHEN I PUT THE STOCK ONE BACK IN. I THINK I AM GOING TO WAIT TILL MY TRANNY GOES, WHICH WILL BE SOON, AND SEE ABOUT WHAT A TRANSMISSION GUY SUGGESTS.
GOOD LUCK

ok guys. ive had the b&m shifter for about 4 months now (ver2). the shifts are nice but its rough going into gears, it rattles like crazy. personally i think they suck ***. the vibrating will get louder and louder...and its not only at 4000+ rpm. its whenever you are not on the gas and your car is moving in gear. also, i just bought the nismo shifter but i havent installed it yet. i will keep you guys posted..but in my opinion, stay with the stock shifter or any other shifter thats not a piece of crap (c's or nismo). dont get the b&m shifter...ive had synchro problems as well...
