Sleeved Block??
Im still debationg what engine i want to put in. I am craving the sound of a bov under my hood so bad, but i just cant make up my mind.
-- anyhow..... what is cheaper.
ka24de sleeved block ( they do this on nissans right?.... i see it for hondas all the time ), with better internals, and put on a greddy turbo kit or something ( insert average price here )
sr20det flushed out, and tuned up good after install, maybe with a few turbo upgrades later ( bov, turbo, intercooler )
-- also..... there is a 6 speed trans for an sr20, but am i correct in assuming there is not for a ka24??
-- I know that if i replace the turbo later it will be more expensive for a sr20, but im just wondering how many headaches I will have when the ka24 acts up since its not built for turbo.
and i know someone is going to say SEARCH to me, but i did and that thing does nothing but give me a headache, so save ur comment and move on to the next thread
edit: i dont only want a turbo for the bov sound, but i just like it soo dern much......
