Thanks for everybodys contribution but I finally settled on Kei Office XRs.

If I had an s13, i would of been very tempted to get the HEs but the spring rates are the same for the s14 even though the s14 is more than slightly heavier than the s13. They perform on an s13 though, i just rarely see s14 with them. I tried to order GP Sports GR6 but they were on "backorder." I found out a week and a half after I ordered by calling them, so I canceled and order from some where else and they were also on backorder. I had a little more money to spend by this time so I ordered Kei Office XR's. A little suggestion is to buy things early because the Kei Offices were on backorder too. Of course, They're not really on backorder, just nobody stocks them so when they get an order in, they just directly order it from Japan. Sucks I'll have to wait near 3 weeks until I see them.

I have the same problem about the auto X but they actually encourage our whole crew. Our skills are getting better but our times suck!

FYI for the extra $$ you paid for Kei Office you could have gotten yourself another stiffer set of springs if you wanted stiff... but from personal experience even if the spring rates are the same for S13/S14, what exactly did you conclude with that? I had HE's and they were pretty stiff out of the box. Yes, there are stiffer setups out there, but remember HE's and Kei Office and others (like Hypermax D) are designed for track only. If you're car is a daily driver, have fun on the bumpy public streets.

From what I read, they're okay for street use too.

"The suspension specialist team including the Drift King Tsuchiya Kenichi himself using “From street to circuit use” as its concept spending many time in testing and development. To create the most popular Type XR. Now back with an affordable price. "

I just didn't want a tein setup as much as i would rather have Kei Office. I'm not ripping on people who have HEs in their cars, i'm just giving an explanation that lead to my decision.

.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I've had the HE's for quite a while and have had no problems yet since i wrote the review. I do have a problem with losing high horsepowerd cars in the turns though but they seem to catch me on the straightaways NEXT review will probably be on the KAAZ 2way. Thanks for reading.

12aine, since ur selling the HE setup, wat set up u looking for? I know the FLEX set up works with the EDFC. Is there another one that I dont know about? I had planed on gettin the same thing as you. Once I got tha money. Rite now I'm just gonna settle for lower spring from Tein. Type-S, I think that is wat they are calld. Do u know nething about these spring? I know very lil right now

I went with the Tein Type Flex coilovers, plus the EDFC unit. The EDFC also works with the Tein Super Street coilovers. As for S-Tech springs, they're great for the price; a lot of people I know who went mild suspension went with S-Techs, but eventually after awhile on S-Techs you might want something stiffer (if you drive hadd a lot like us).

How can they be "bomb" if you're scared to use them on the freeway?

FLEX CUH. FLEX > HE allaround LOL

agreed - in the mountains my old HE's were awesome, but for the rest of your normal, day to day street/freeway driving, they sucked *** (especially on the 10fwy, for those local)
