well, nothing done to my car today, got a bunch of **** knocked out on the gray S14 to get it ready for the buyer... till i found out i had the wrong flywheel (thanks chris, F'ing n00b!!)... then my buddy tom came over, and we finished up the five lug swap for his Kouki i sold him....

I've never sat in gtr seats. I bet the shoulder support is much better than s14 seats. Good work.

UPDATE: got some ish done today... got the gray car around 80% ready for start up, all i got left to do is a bit of wiring for the MAF and o2 sensor (missing pigtail, UGH), and rerun all the front end vac lines for the BOV and wastegate...

then, i'm using all the new couplers and T-Bolt clamps that came with the new FMIC kit and using them on the black car.... i also stole the 3" FMIC core from the kit too, and put the big *** 4" FMIC core on the gray car....

overall first impressions (no drive time yet as my car is in pieces...), are ******* these things FIT... i mean, you can tell they were designed for the japs, cause i'm kinda small at 150lbs/5'8" and these things fit me like a glove, shoulders, waist, hips, and thighs are all pretty snug, with not much movement when i wiggle around... a WORLD of difference compared to the S14 seats....

can wait to hit a couple events in em, to see why they put em in the GTR...

well guys, got some pics taken.... she's not much as she sits, but like any other project will be progressing slowly... not to mention, this isn't a primary car, so i prob wont spend too too much time with it...

i've decided what i'm going to do with it.... full on restoration... going full interior, as what's in there now with the exception of the dash and back seat is pretty damn mint... going silvia front with aero, rear overfenders, a MAACO paint job after aeros on (painted same color two tone on aero and stuff)... some suspension, and a welded diff, as it will be my drift car....

as far as motor plans, i don't know yet, i'm considering 3 options...

got an update...

gray car is now on the ground, and 95% complete for the guy buying it... i've spent quite some time putting it back together... when i started, it was basically a shell, with no hubs, no suspension, and just a SR long block under the hood... now after two straight days of humpin', she's finally back on the ground for the first time in two months...

just got a couple things left to do

wire in MAF pigtail
install boost gauge
wire in universal o2 sensor
run a vac line to the waste gate

i think that's it...

and since i ordered a new FMIC kit for the gray car, i decided to steal all the new couplers and T-Bolt clamps for my car, and put all my old **** on the gray car... upgraded clamps FTW!!!

while all the piping was out, i looked at it, and said "these look like ****!!" off to the parts store... one sheet of 3M wet or dry sandpaper, one can of primer, and two cans of Nissan Super Black later....
