well that was teh weirde part. ive seen chameleon paint jobs and it wasnt like it. it never changed it just had glimmers of green and purple. it didnt go silver to green to purple. it was silver from all angles but as i passed it, it rippled with green and purple, but again, the silver could always be seen.

nope your both wrong.

Ever hear of "ghost flames" ?
It goes along the same technique. VERY expensive.
You lay a silver basecoat down. Then you spray green and purple pearls over it. I think they do one other coat of something else. then clearcoat. Wet-sand + buff. The pearescents don't give it a color changing affect, they make it "flicker" when it goes by certain angles and lights. very cool trick.

Search google for "ghost flames" or "ghost painjob"
