I have a few questions about carpeting

1. Where can i get that carpet that wont get stained? They had it on Pimp My Ride, where they spilt spegetti on it and it wiped right off.
2. When redoing the trunk for audio stuff(2 amps and 2 10s) should i use carpet or would something else be better?
3. how much carpet would i need?
4. Has anyone installed new carpet? How did it turn out?

you can find molded carpet kits all over the net... and with everything some are better than others...

putting carpet in for the audio system is the same as always... as long as it matches the carpet that is in there now it usually looks pretty good... and the amount of carpet would depend on the size of box amp rack and finish panels you install with the audio system...

 

i been searching on google and ebay and all i found was carpet for coupes..... are they the same as fastbacks? cause it on this one site it said coupe or fastback.

anyone know where i can get a fastback carpet?
if not anyone know the size in lenth i need to get carpet by the yards? and custom cut my own?

 

I'm pretty sure the only difference is that they say coupe cause they don't include the hatch area carpet. Correct me if I'm wrong but the passenger area carpets are exactly the same for hatch and coupe (just where people are front and back seats.) I would like somebody to confirm that statement because I am gonna buy new carpet also.

when it says coupe or hatch back. passenger compartment...
is that only the passenger side or like driver side and passender side plus the back seats but not the trunk ?

 

I believe some companies supply you with the material for the trunk, you just have to cut it and style it unfortunatly.

 

yes carpets for both are the same. nissan likes to save money like that by only tooling 1 mold. but yeah trunk is another issue. if you have ever gutted your car, the carpet ends where the rear passenger seats starts. had to swap out carpets in my car(and evything else, interior was brown leather, my parts car was black )
