Converting 90-93 240 to Kouki Front

Sorry for the newb question, but i'd like to know if it's possible to convert a 1990-1993 240sx to a kouki style front end. From my understanding the kouki style won't line up without work being done to the car's front end.

Has this been tried before? what's the approximate cost? will a full front clip be needed to do such a thing?

Also while on the topic of front end conversion, would much work be required to convert a US 1990-1993 240sx to a JDM style front?

like so..

depending on the answer to the question before.. i'd assume a front end clip will be needed as well... if that's the case.. approximate cost to do such a thing?

- thanks

the JDM Silvia front normally goes for about $700-$1000 depending where you get it from.

and if by kouki u mean a S14 kouki 97(96 in japan)-98 fron end...u would need fenders...lights...bumper...hood...some fabrictaion ability would be nice...do u need new light brackets?...does anybody make make S13.4 fenders?...if not u gotta fab/make your own by modifying a S13 fenders...

www.masamotorsports.com they have a lot of conversion kits...not sure if they make S13.4 tho...

if u meant a kouki 180SX/R_S13 front end...just switch the bumpers and signal lights...easy and costs like $300...

yes i meant the kouki style s14 front end..

see i want to buy a cheap manual 240 (1,500$ or less) lets say a 1990-1993 model (because ive seen them go for such a price).

I'd then like to throw in an SR20DET and continue modding from there, but the thing is i think the s14 front end is super sexy (i think the kouki lights are pretty agressive) but i also like that JDM style front end (posted pic).

but being that i'll be swapping out the motor i don't see why i should pay 5-6 grand for one car over 1 grand or so for another, simply for a sexy front end.. so i wanted to know if anyone out there has felt the crazy need to mod their 240 as i would like to do.

- from my understanding i'll pretty much be needing to buy a front end clip and weld it on correct?

welding can be done but you can also customize the front to make everything work. a good bodyshop can prob do this for you.

but the cheapest option is to go S13 Silvia. easy install and doesnt cost too much.

im going to do the S14 Silvia Kouki front on mine but i cant give away any ideas till mine is done....

s13 silvia front is an easy install. everything basically bolts right on without any fabrication. For this conversion, you would need: hood, bumper, headlights and the brackets, fenders.

for the s14 kouki, you'd need the those parts BUT you need to do some fabrication to fit the headlights.

I bought my s13 silvia conversion for $350 from this guy in my neighborhood. His gf was about to have a baby and needed the money so I lucked out. He was actually the one that stopped by my house and asked if I wanted to buy it
