it rides pretty good, and not as harsh as i expected although every once in a while ill run something over that will remind me it is indeed an aftermarket suspension. im going to fix that lip and reshoot it sometime soon. i think the recaro seats will be the next step while i save up enough for the 5-speed swap. im going to piece it together as money comes along.

so i have to take the car off the road.
the other night i was driving home when my brake pedal started getting soft. turns out i got a pinsized hole in the line where it goes through a hole in the strut tower. whats even worse now is that the strut tower has started to rust over the years, but ever since i lowered the stupid thing the strut tower has gotten weaker causing the tower to crack. i havnt decided what to do just yet but it looks like i wont be drifting in the 09 season.
and i had my hopes way up this year.

i went through your build and got my hopes back up. i think i just got mad discouraged, one because the car is my DD and i have nothing else, and two because ive been trying to get to the track for a few years now but just cant. its good we have guys like you on this forum Donnie, thanks for the pick me up
here is my plan of attack:
pull the motor and trans out and get the strut tower fixed while everything is out of the way. thats when ill do the 5-speed swap too. not all is lost, just got discouraged
basically what happened is the tower was going bad already, but when i put the coilovers on it made things worse and started stressing out the good metal

i was able to get a few bucks together for a new dd. im going to have to park the s14 for the time being until i can get time to work on it. im thinking since the motor has to come out anyway, this may be the best time to do a vq35de swap....which is going to take forever to save for

what's the plan of attack for the fender wells? Is there a donor car at a local junkyard you can take that section from?
