electronic seatbelts

How can i get rid of the electric "mice" in my car? I'm getting harnesses and i want those things gone. Can i remove the whole assembly from the track? or do i just pull the fuse?

If you remove the assembly without removing the motor, you will hear the motor everytime you try to open the door... pull the fuse, and remove the junk for weight savings.

I pulled out that junk last night and damn it weighs a lot. The motor and track assemblies, the computer for it, the lap belts, and the top belts, and lastly, the seat buckle. Wow that's a lot of parts for just the front seatbelts.. I installed rear s14 belts and fit just fine. The only issue that I have at the moment is that I was able to retract it out once or twice and now they are locked up. But I will figure out the solution to that today.
