Has anyone ever put a convertable top on a 240 that didnt come with it from the factory? How about a sun roof? For you guys who really know these cars..... is there a 95 240sx out there that they made with a convertable top that I could locate in the junk yards and gut for frame work and parts?

Just bought this car, and the wife wants a sun roof. She would be forever gratefull if I manage to make it a convertable.

Just throwing this out there to see what you guys think.

I know I got a truck as my siggy, but since I just bought the car, and its purpose is a project car, I wont change my siggy untill I feel the car is worth showing off.

 

as far as I know, only the S13's (1989 to 1994?) were available as a convertible. I think in those, it was only 1992 to 1994, but I am prolly REALLY wrong. I've only seen two in person.

I am quite sure that no S14's were made as convertible. just coupes. you can put a sunroof in, just find a shop to do it. maybe even a targa type thing if you want. good luck

 

hmm they only made convertibles a option for the s13, i believe from 91 to 94. As far as I know there is no existent s14 convertible that was factory made, can only be a custom option. as for a sunroof or moonroof any bodyshop could do that fro you, how much I'm not really sure though...hope that helps
