i just bought a cf hood from erebuni, is this a bad or good hood, does it require hood pins or does it already have a stock latch

Drive around w/o hood pins to see if the hood is stable, but don't drive to fast.

More then likely you will need to use hood pins, most do.

They hold the hood down at high speeds. Since the CF hood is so light, at high speeds the sides of the hood rattle and sometimes even lift. The pins hold the hood down at the sides. It actually serves a purpose, lol.

This is more of an opinion then actualy data, but I'd just put the hood pins on and call it a day. You don't want that thing coming up while you're driving. That's bad news.

Good luck,
Matt
