I found out how to do the sleepy eye mod for free. The 240 looks a lot better imo. I am going to put instructions too (atleast for the 240 guys if anything). Here are the pics. They're a little blurry (I tried the no flash trick, works good, but you have to hold still a little longer, I didn't know they didn't turn out till I got home, bear with me)
Here's how you do it. There is a button to the left of the steering wheel that pops the lights up, but doesn't turn them on. Pull it out, just give it a tug, it won't break. Cut the brown wire, and cover both ends so htey don't short. Put it back in. Push it in, nothing will happen, but leave it in. Turn your lights on, and then off. They won't go down, but the lights will turn off. Push the button again, the lights will go down, push the button again when they reach the desired height, they will stop right in their tracks. It doesn't work with the lights on, but I am working on that. Tell me what you think
I know they are uneven, I am trying to figure it out. The left side is slightly higher hten the left one. I can't figure it out, but I am working on it.

You mean like this?
Simple, wire up a switch to the 5amp fuse in the driverside kick panel. It's thje onyl 5amp fuse. With the switch off, no power goes to the motors and you can turn the lights on with sleepy eyes. With the switch on, the motors have power again.

Yeah, I forgot, special thanks to wildace. He hooked me up with the info to find the mod on import fanatix (and his car looks mint with them too! 
). Can you show me some pics of your wiring for the lights arctic? I guess when you do this mod, the headlights popup uneven, so I need to go in an manually even them out, and turn on the lights with the lazy eyes on, otherwise I will have to even them out every time I pop them. When you use the pivot controller, you don't have this problem, but it's only minor (you can kind of see it in the first pic)

They're uneven because prob one of the motors is dying out faster than the other. Frankly I haven't done this mod yet. All I did was take out the 5amp fuse from the fuse panel. I haven't wired a switch yet, too lazy. Check the nico forums, they have some pics with the wiring done.

Everyone who has done this mod on import fanatix had the same problem. The ones that used the spendy pivot controller had no problems. So you took out the 5 amp fuse, and you just leave the headlights on lazy eyes? Interesting, Ima try to wire up a swtich though, less ghetto.

I bought a switch.... when I got it home, I accidentally bought a momentarily on switch. It sucks. I just took out hte fuse for now. i suck at stuff like this. Any idea on how I could wire up a switch to a fuse? I can't figure it out.
FOr now, I just manually evened out the headlights with the adjuster ****. Looks good, but when you turn on the brights, they go up all hte way, and you need to put the fuse back in to adjust them. I need that switch in there so bad :P . Thanks for the help arctic.

I read that too, a blue wire with a ilver strip or something, but I don't want to risk pulling the fuse panel loose, and all the wires with it. That could result in the suck rather easily. I'll check up on it tomorrow. I have the day off of work, and hopefully the hardware store will be open so I can exchange my wrong switch.
