That's cool. Im gonna order a set for myself, so that if I end up effing them up beyond use, nobody is out any money. If they turn out nice, you'll be the first to know.

How much do you want to make one for me? We do share the convertible title after all, and my 3rd brake light is coincidentally burned out.

A while back we were talking about using CCFL rings to make taillights out of. I found a small set on Ebay that I still may try to do something with.

Lets see here.. 6 resistors, some pcb, 1 voltage regulator, 30 superflux LEDs, solder, wire, glue...

$20 plus shipping back to you sound fair? Ya gotta send me your third brake light and I would need a day to finish it up.

i got a set of those tail lights form a guy on ebay and the clear plastic fell off them and the studs did not lign up with the holes on my car and also the electrical connectors were a cheap knock off and did not fit. then the person i bought them from wouldnt do anything and said that i altered the lights and would not send me a replacement

Hmm... mine came with 2 sets of connectors, 1 for the kouki 180sx wiring, and 1 for USDM 240sx wiring. The studs were also poorly aligned on mine, but a little gentle hammering with my palm and they worked just fine. The connectors did have some issues though, and would cause me to lose a brake light or a blinker every now and again.
Still got those tails?

lol mang. I gotta cut some slack for the only other vert I know of on the forum...

And taking out the third brake light takes like 30 seconds. Look on the front of the wing, and there are 2 screws that hold the light in. Pull em out and there ya go.
