My new s13 shell

I had nothing under the hood. I was short on cash after buying the car. I got the suspension parts at work on my discount and credit acount ($75 a month for sportlines and kyb's, only $400 set with discount w007) and that was all I had cash for. I was wating until spring for wheels (my acount was too high to buy them before) and then I wrecked it. Nthing under the hood.
As far as a swap goes, I don't know. I fear that if I get a jdm motor, I won't be able to get the parts I need for routine maintenance. I wouldn't mind getting a ca18 personally, or an sr20 if I felt particularly fancy, but I don't want to have to pay $50 for an oil filter every tie I change the oil. As far as turbo KA... I want to do it so bad. I have done hours of research. I priced out a pieced together kit, and I compared it to a boost designs stage one kit, think I'd go with bd, but then I'd need a rebuild since my motor has 150k on it. So altogether, I can expect to pay $2200 for the turbo, and about $700 for a rebuild... ouch. But I would have more torque then an sr20 or ca18, and I would have more maintanance parts available to me. It's a long way off though, I have to move out htis summer, and I am getting married not to late after that... not gonna have much cash for going turbo, so I'ma just put in a short ram and a header for now, maybe an electric fan and a beafy exhaust (that looks stock of course, I hate fart cans :P ) I am getting z32 fronts soon, maybe a motor ot turbo in there somewhere, but what use is power if you don't have what it takes to stop it?

I would love to get one. I wouldnt mind getting one before a rebuild, but then I wouldn't want the motor to blow, and **** up the rest of the motor just because I got impatient. Rebuild first definately. I'll be making more this summer, but I still might not be able to get it too quickly. We'll just wati and see.
