Really, since as long as I have been in the military! According to Kadena AB TMO, Military service members are authorized to ship 1 vehicle at the Gov. expense legal or not. If it is not legal then it is to be shipped(via military arranged shipping) to a RI and the legal modifications will be made at the vehicle owners expense. YES, Customs are taken care of by Gov. and taxes may or may not need to be made. I have already shipped one vehicle from Germany and no taxes were charged. I cant just strip a whole car and throw all the parts in HHGs because they wont take alot of car parts( engine block, tranny, new battery, etc) only some. Already looked into it and/ or tried in the past. And, I realized that TMO would give me a list of importers to contact and I would have to make alot of arrangements, thats why I was on here asking if anyone knew any importers. Thanks for your input but I already know how that much works. Not trying to be a ***** to you but I was ONLY asking for someone who may know an RI that I could speak to instead of calling every RI on the 8 page list that I received from TMO. Anyway, thanks.

used cars are cheap as ****. lets compare something....if you buy a front clip for 2500, 500 for shipping, and 1000 install fee. then you paid more than he paid for his car. you can buy 180's that are tricked out anywhere from 5000 to 8000 if you dont want to do the work yourself.
