I've only seen those on S13's and think they suck, but it's all personal preference...

imo there's no reason to replace something that is fully functional with something that will do the exact same thing. it's your money and all but you did ask so i'm just giving you my opinion.

any welder will work fine if you know what not to do. by that i mean turning the amps up all the way and making long continuous welds is not the way to go about it. small beads and alternating between ends or from the center out to allow the area to cool is what you want. otherwise you end up burning right through the wheel well.

turn the amperage all the way up? First off, not just any welding machine will work. If you decide to use a stick welder is it a AC or DC welder, more than likely if your machine is older it is AC and in which case you have to buy rods for that process. DO NOT TURN YOUR AMPERAGE ALL THE WAY UP! unless you are good at sheet metal work and would like to replace everywhere you strike a arc. I will post up more info later this morning just hope you havent already made that mistake.

I think Jramos was saying that turning the amps all the way up is NOT the way to do things, and by what you described could happen, that's definitely not the way to go.

I've never actually welded myself, but I'd like to learn sometime...

Anyway, welcome to the board. Nice 240...keep it clean!

As far as those tail lights also, the 97-98 tail lights = <3

so ive got a few questions, about goin KA-T, since ive already got the turbo, ive read the turbo basics,

Fuel Control
SR 370cc Injectors
Apexi SAFC2
Greddy Emanage
Back off base timing at distributor or MSD BTM

is all of that neccesary if im going to run about 7-8 psi ?
i was going to get the injectors off a sr20 anyways, as well as a fuel pump, but the safc, and engine management? ive read online where some people say it is neccesary and some say its not, i just dont know what to belive, what do you guys think ?
