No, not positive it's the same thing, but if it is, you're in trouble if oyu use it on your paint, lol. Test it on the neighbor's car first, lol.

I've used the clay bar on the Z. Makes the paint real shiny. The kit comes with a clay bar-the size of soap but thinner, wax, and some other things I can't remember. It takes a lot of time to do the entire car. If you were to actually sit there like I did and take your sweet *** time, the blemishes and minor scratches will be gone. Then after you wax it.....the car feels like it just got a new paint job, real smooth. I don't think the clay bar will take off the black strip. You'll have better luck with a heat gun or a hairdryer.

well the clay bar doesn't take off the stripe, it takes off the glue residue left by the stripe. Mkae sure it is really warm outsidewhen you use the clay bar, or even if you just wax your car. I't's difficult to do in the cold.

if your waxing or using clay bar, it has got to be warm temperature. The temperature range should be on the box.

Yeah, that's key. The clay bar will not do it's job if the surface you are rubbing it on is too cold, or if the bar itself is so cold it's stiff.

dude, that's shocking. She seriously looks like my girlfriend. That even looks like something she'd wear. Right down to the flip flops, though her's are usually black, lol. Car looks mint now btw. So much better without that damn stripe.
