Leave it alone, thats a clean coupe. Paint seems to be in good shape,...do basic maintenance and a good paint buffed, just to restore the paint back to new looks, get new rims and wheels and lower it....save yourself some money, oh and take the black tape off....

No stickers or decals, please....

hey one other question you guys, i took everything in consideration, no decals, lol and u m yea i got an n-1 exhaust and im tinting winodws and getting lowering springs , rims are coming in a week so its good but u kno the cabin well the top part of the car should i paint it black jsut the part ive seen some hatchbacksl ike that black top red body but let me kno how you guys think il look black top tan body ..

That photochop sorta looks like its a convertible with a cloth top, but only it's not. Looks better, but as everyone here is telling you, leave it stock. Look at other pictures of other 240 coupes like yours. I know you want to change the stock look of it to make it unique, but trust me (us), 240s are rare enough that it's already unique in such clean stock form. Don't go with any fancy decals or stripes or even spoilers. Just get used to your car, treat it right, browse the forums, and you'll want to put your car money in other places besides the exterior. Tint, lowering springs, new wheels and tires will do a huge upgrade in the looks department as well as the practical and performace enhancements it brings. After that, upgrade your headlights or marker lights for a minimal but noticable style upgrade.

 

Please, for the LOVE OF GOD, do not rice out that car.

It's VERY rare to find a S13 in that nice of condition, don't go and ruin it with cheapie vinyl and a big spoiler etc. Do things tastefully! Maybe u won't get props from all the honda kids and their fugly ricejobs (not that a honda can't look nice... it's just pretty improbable that a modded honda will NOT be riced out), but REAL enthusiasts will have much higher respect for you if the mods you make are suttle and understated.

240s have reached critical mass as far as popularity goes. They're more popular now than when they were new, as sad as that is. Take your time. Do things right. Almost every car I've seen that looks shoddily done, was becuase the owner didn't have the patience to do things right the first time through.

Now, opinions on what mods to make? If you're dead set on changing the looks in a big way, do the PS13 silvia conversion, it's the cheapest way to get that full-on JDM look, money well spent as far as looks go IMO. That alone completely changes the look of the car (go with the non-projectors... SOOO much classier than the dual/triple projectors). PLEASE stay away from the huge ricer bookshelf/GT wings! Have u seen the 240sx that was on Pimp My Ride? Do pretty much the opposite of that, and you'll be fine

heh, so you really took my advice eh? well if you want more suggestions feel free to ask me. I can also hook you up with certain parts if you want (Transmissions, Clutches ect.) you might want to change the clutch out soon because your car has over 100k on it (If you have a 5-speed)

 

Hehe arrggg thats what i don't like, its automatic the only one i could find, bah but actually everything is good on it except an oil leak which is in the process of getting fixed, right now all im looking for is a good set of wheels and mags(chrome style) 4 bolt and preferably 17 inch but 15 will do and i only want to pay like 800-900 canadian so that's around 650-700 us im guessing maybe less let me kno if u know of anything that meets these requirements.

Ha ha, I see. Well I have the same problem you do; mine is automatic as well. thats why Im spending 1.1k to get the tranny swaped out. consider doing that if you want to get a real feel of the car. other then that if you just want the car just for looks, leaving it auto is just fine

 

Ok, huge aluminum wing that's 1 1/2 feet above your trunk. Massive Shogun front bumper, exhaust with a 5 inch tip. 15" 6 spoke rims, and lower your car till it scrapes the ground.....OH and make the color primer!! YEAH!!....

That's just what you'll see with the cars around here....i beg of you...I implore you! Don't do stupid things like that to a 240!

Your car looks uber clean too. I like the color, i would try and keep it that way. And the S13 conversion would look so damn hot it's not even funny. Well i'm sure you know what you wanna do now, so good luck!

 

Don't forget to replace your headlight bulbs with some silverstars. They look really nice and help with seeing at night...
