lawls.. ancient chinese secret ^_^;
Nah i just got lazy today. i wasnt satisfied with my base coat, so i went to the local autozone to pick up some more rattle cans and finer grit paper. I started with 1000 to get the highs out, then used the 2000 grit to make it mirror smooth... well sorta... if you looked down the car's bodyline, it looked smoother than glass, but because its rattle can and not professional paint, the color was funny. Rattle can acrylic enamel is very peculiar, ive read that when acrylic enamel cures, it forms a "skin" on the very outside of the paint, which gives it its color and such, and cant be sanded without going over with another coat. Thats fine, usually... but satin black from a rattle can is harder than i thought. Not that it looks bad, everyone i talk to says they wanna hump it.. its just that its hard to get a good finish when the car is 130 degrees, and the paint dries faster than you can spray it on...and in the wind... trying to paint it before the parasitic louisiana showers. Weather hasnt been in my favor lately, every time i try to put another coat on, the wind picks up, or it starts to sprinkle or rain like all heall is breaking loose. Ill get a pic for ya tomorrow.
