WRONG! YOU ARE SO WRONG!

That is just disgusting to think that you're trying to spooge all over a set of beautiful round pistons!

Although you and I are on the same page about wanting to desperately build something LOL

When I was at the engine shop, the owner showed me a set of custom pistons from another company. They were a custom design but, wow the surface finish was BAD...I could do better on a manual Mill.....

Went junkyard diving yesterday. Got some parts for my car that I'll post pics of later. I ended up finding about 5 S13s there. 1 pignose hatch, 2 Chuki hatches an 2 Chuki Verts. I ended up getting a pretty good trunk that needs a punched lock repaired, a matching stock wing (been trying to find one, thanks to positron for offering his.) I also got the cruise control parts I've been missing and 2 shifter surrounds, one is up for sale. Ran me $80 including 2 AC evaporators that dad needed for a bike project. I'll post up next time before I go and if you need something tell me and I'll try my best to find it for you. Strangely, there are NO S14s. Probably too recent to appear in the yard.

I think 2 of the 3 hatches were sticks and still had the engine/trans combo still in them. Atleast one there I'm certian. Thanks for the kudos. I'm ordering my bearings and studs tomorrow. Motor should be together by end of march.

Good to see you got the parts you were looking for, S13s are getting rare in our yards here. Too many posers trying to "rebuild" their cars... and failing at it miserably.

So whats the next step once all this goes in?

Next step is get the final motor parts ordered. Once I get the motor built I will begin saving for the turbo setup and doing all the research for that. I have the buiild set up in 4 stages.

Stage 1: Motor Rebuild
Stage 2: Turbo System (including fuel/spark/etc.)
Stage 3: Exterior Rebuild (Silvia front, repaint, graphics, etc.)
Stage 4: Custom Interior (Corbeau Seats, Black Carpet, DVD/Nav, ect.)

It will be ATLEAST December before it is done, maybe longer depending on job situation. I figure it is better to spend the time and do it right than rush through and end up with some half baked POS. "Good, Cheap, or Fast, Pick only 2 for your build......."

So I said I would post pics of what I got at the junkyard.....

The entire haul:

The top of the trunk. I removed the wing becuase I just planned on only buying that, but decided after the wong was off that I needed both to get all the mounts....

You can see here, the damage from someone too lazy to open the door and open the trunk like a resonable human being....... I'm gonna get the school to repair it using my stock trunk for replacement parts.

The one from the automatic car. Which ever cleans up better I will keep, the other will be for sale.

And I guess Chevy is good at naming thier cars for thier unique traits. In the vein of the Chevy Nova (Spanish: No Va=Doesn't Go) I present to you a FIRE DAMAGED Chevy Blazer.....
