Ok, so I finally got the drivers seat out.. I was wondering what the wire underneath it is? It plugs INTO the seat.

I thought it was a seatbelt tensioner or something of the like.. But checking the passenger seat showed there wasn`t one on that one.

Secondly, if I stick an S14 seat in there will the seatbelts work ok? or do I need more than just the seat?

that sensor under the driver seat is merely to tell if your lap belt is strapped in or not. The S14 seats bolt right up, all you have to do is swap your buckle from your s13 to s14 seat on the right side of your lap so it fits correctly. I did this on my S15 seats that also bolt right up.
