Wow, thank you, i didn't know people would like the wheels so much. those materials are for all 4 wheels. No you do not have to wait a month to put the wheels back on. You only have to let them bake in the sun for about 4-5 hours. I was saying it takes about a month for all the layers of paint to completely harden.

 

How many layers of paint was it did you say?

 

for the primer or actual wheel paint?

primer is 2 coats

wheel paint is 4-6

clear coat is 2

 

how long has that paintjob lasted you?

 

Sounds about right. Anyway, they look good.

thats the best paint job on wheels i've ever seen. i'm going to have to copy you. so you used the softer sand paper to sand it then the rougher kind?

That is simply the best solution to the 4 lug wheels ever. I use to think i would have to replace the wheels if i got 4lugs but now i dont have to. I will copy you if i ever get a 240 with 4lugs, that is if i ever find a 240.

umm......i was considering the Buddy Club P1. II wheels in 18" gunmetal. I think those would look pretty nice. Or some work or SSR wheels.

 

so when u spray the wheel just hold the can about 1-2 feet away from the rim and then spray slowly across the rim till u reach the bottom? is that considered 1 coat?
