My (Snoddy) S13 build- trying to keep it simple

I got this car about 2 months ago. Due to very little seat time and cars that were either low on power or a pain in the A to work on/build for drifting, I decided to get an S-chassis. I really wanted an S14 but like always I was pretty much like "meh". The car is auto, has a beat ka in the car and a 5 speed tranny and spare ka in the hatch . The body is pretty ok but the hood had an horrible rattle can attempt done to it and something happened to the driver side fender so it's white now.

I didnt really even like FB's at first but it's growing on me and I have seen some super duper nice ones so I think I can deal with it. Dont plan to go too crazy with it initially but I know myself and after a while I'll start going crazy with parts. I have everything needed to complete the 5 speed swap I'm just waiting for the head to be resurfaced and the block to be decked. I also refuse to drive the car with stock 240 ride height (wtf was nissan thinking, **** might as well be on neptune) so it will be on cut springs until I get the coilovers of my choice (PBM or stance gr+ most likely). And I dont have money for a 2 way right now and dont want to wait to drift (successfully) so I'll get teh weldumup. Enough jibber jabber here are teh pics.

Thats a pretty clean hachi-coupe, awesome to see it going sideways! Looks like a ***** on the shifter lol and the wheel is straight old-school, I would probably get hurt with something like that. Good luck with the car and keep the updates coming.

Naw I dont have the 86 any more (sadly) hopefully I will get another one some day.... awesome cars, they make you feel so good when you drive them.

Thanks for all the comments guy's. I just hope this project goes better than my last ones.

BTW I daily drive an MX62 Cressida (1982 5me). Once the 240 is in good driftable condition (basically all the susp parts I want and like 3 sets of wheels and running reliably) I plan to do the Serial9/stance s13 coilover conversion with it and drop in a 7mgte and w58 5 speed swap with some 15x9 -15 wheels up front and 15x10 -38 wheels in the back dumped to the ground. I'll post pics of it later. It only has 82,500 miles on it right now, F'in gangster.

Man I know what cut springs are like homie! They cant be any worse on an s-chassis than an integra with cut springs so short it's riding on bump stops. If I do run them it shouldnt be for more than 2 months. Haha I'll be surprised if the oem shocks dont blow after a week of driving on the marvelous Louisiana road ways.

Shame about the AE86, it was sexxxxay. I never understood the ***** **** on a short shifter though, doesnt it defeat the purpose?

Ryguy-The whole thing about the long **** on the short shifter. A shifter that is a short shifter isnt neccessarily shorter as in length but shorter as in throw. Even with a long **** the throw of your shift will still be significantly shorter. Primarily people who drift like for the shifter to be high up so they have even more to grab when they are fuddling to shift quickly.

kaiser-It's made out of acrylic (basically a hard plastic). It's what fake nails are made out of (you know, the kind that women use) and other various things. The **** is actually pretty heavy and should have a nice throw when shifting.

HKST04Z-I got the **** off of ebay. It took me a while to find someone who was actually selling a pink one (it was out of clear bubble hexagon, pink bubble round one, or a black tinted bubble but I have yet to see a black tinted bubble **** and there were no clear bubble ones at the time so I chose pink) so when i finally saw it I waited until the last minute and snatched it up lol. It was kind of a dick move but ebay allows it so meh. You can probably find people on zilvia or other forums who sell them brand new though but for like 20 bucks more.

As far as the pink ***** bubble shift ****.... I think it's funny as hell when people are like "man wtf this dude must be gay!!" Thats exactly the response I want. I want to have fun with this car and I think people will laugh at the interior setup so it will be worth it. I'll have to be careful with the steering wheel though. The edges of the spokes are pretty sharp and if I dont watch my hands while drifting I will be bleeding all over the place lol. I'll probably grind them smooth, get some racing gloves, or wrap them in some kind of soft cloth..... or all of the above.
