it's not that they are "focused" more to the left, it's just that the beam is generally higher and flares off to the left, unlike here where our beams generally flare higher on the right of have a "step" up on the right (very noticeable with projector beams)
you could always fix this by retrofitting usdm halogen or hid projectors in the low beam reflector.
