Question need help changing gauges

how do i take out the tachometer so that i can change the gauges..i cant find any walkthroughs on the internet

what do you mean 'take out the tachometer'? you cant jsut take it out. If you want to change the faces, you have to take the whole gauge cluster out. be more specific and youll get some more help, i guarantee

Lol you can buy gauges, are you just looking to get like...indiglos or something, or is your original cluster broken, or what? Help me help you!

i got the indiglos already..i jus dont kno how to take the cluster out so i can install the indiglos

Should be...two screws up at the top of the cluster itself, take those out, then lower the steering column, and it should come right out. unplug the cruise control, etc, etc, and then you should be able to get to the cluster itself. Unscrew the screws on the back of it, and pull the cluster out. As far as putting the indiglos on, you can either take the needles off, and put the gauges on top of your stock tach with double sided tape, and then get the cluster re-calibrated....OR you can carefully try to slip the gauges on over the needles. Be very gentle though, because they can break. Good luck buddy!
