Is there a S13 Coupe Carbon Fiber Trunk???

Anyone know where I could find a 89-94 240SX Coupe Carbon Fiber trunk lid? Couldn't find anyone, hopefully there is one out there without custom making it..

yea the thing about the carbon fiber hatches for the s13 fastback, is the weights in the glass not the hatch, in my crx we have all the glass out and the hatch barely weighs anything the glass is what weighs so much. i know this is about the coupe, but im just makein a note letting anyone else know that may be interested in the one for a hatch.

I'm thinking about getting one for my hatch since the paint on my hatch is in really realyl bad condition... as for the weight of the glass, u can get Lexan glass which is lighter and stronger from what I understand.. I think that site and mckinneymotorsports carries them.

yea that would definantly lighten it up if you replaced the glass and its not necesarily a bad idea to get a cf hatch, just saying that if your gonna put the stock glass back in it you probly wont benefit all too much.

Lexan is street legal, however it isn't practical because it scratches very easily.

They have improved it recently but it still will scratch pretty easily if your not careful. Well worth the weight saving though if you use it instead of your hatch glass.
