Just as long the windshield is still glass. I should know, I drive my friends EG with dummy doors and lexaned side windows to the races and the cops have never gave problems about.

But did you get pulled over? I'm wondering because, how would the cops know you had dummy doors and lexan windows unless they got close enough to see them?

Or are you just saying you never got pulled over?

Personally I thought all this time that Lexan windows were illegal, at least in CA.

Yeah, same here. I thought hey were too. I always thought you needed safety glass or something on your car for protection.

The safety glass as far as I know only applies to the windshield, so that in the event that something hits the windshield with enough force, glass won't be flying into your face.

I've been pulled over in it for the reason of modified exhaust but they never said anything about the doors or lexan.

well I know the front windshield is required to be tempered glass (shatters into little BB's when broken) so in the event of you or any body part hitting it it will shatter instead of shredding your arm in a bunch of jagged glass.
