Tow Rings...
I'm assuming that's what they are, atleast originally...
I see them on the front of cars, more track cars than show cars, assuming it's more function than looks.
I'm pretty sure it's for towing/keeping tied down in a trailer, that or... something to tie down on the dyno... but I was just curious what are they really?...

[PS someone message me on how to size an avatar properly, everytime I do it it messes up the picture or is too big]
[I searched sizing avatars - nada]
[or if you're really cool, you could do it for me? haha... ]

for images use the image tags instead of html, so it would be [img]http://x2.putfile.com/1/3020070060.jpg[/img]
As for tow rings, the name really says it all. Especially handy if your on a track that is surrounded by grass and you fly off track and get stuck in some mud
