my ghettolicious machine **update 6/27/06**
well i painted my engine-bay metallic black. its not exactaly done yet. just the first coat but it looks pretty damn good. (to me) so ill let the pictures do the talking.
oh and i got me one of these
KA24E + 5 speed woot.
yea total cost of my "project" so far is...
$460 including car...not bad...trying to spend the least amount of money as i can here. not cutting corners, just being patient looking for the best deals.

its gonna be a BlTCH getting them to fit and function properly.

so i had a bit of problem with wheel fitment. 15x8 and what looks to be around -15 offset with 195/60 tires. 195/60 is fail i know but im saving for some 195/50 or 205/45 right now, any advise on tire fitment would be great. oh and i am picking up some 15x8 offset 0 on monday for the fronts from www.autornd.com <- good people.
so i had this:
test fit fender flares at 0 camber, pretty flush:
then a no suspension shot at like -5 camber (RUCAs are on the way):
and my car at its current state:
my car should be running by august 1st finally...had the car for over a year.

being the kind of person who hates having the same thing as everybody else sooo.... i rattle canned my brand new wheels haha.
UPDATE - 7/26/06
so i spent about the last 2 weeks on the crazy cuztom interior:
when i bought the car:
i got it to look like this:
then i primered it:
then the actual paint:
and while i was taking apart my motor to clean and replace some parts i find chunks of chain tensioner everywhere. so apparently the chain tensioner blew up, but it cant be too big of a deal. i will post another update when the engine is finally in the car or if something funny happens.

I WORKED FOR A STRAIGHT MONTH AND WAITED ANOTHER MONTH FOR THESE FOBS TO GET HERE!
ok so im a bit excited, i woke up when the fedex man rang my doorbell and delivered these babies, it was like i woke up and found jessica alba next to me. anyways, no more wierd metaphors, pics:
KTS SC damper system.
and some junk waiting to go in:
the engine should be in, in a week, hopefully, if i dont find more blown up **** haha.
***update 7/31/06***
so i did a bit of painting today.
i cleaned the front timing chain cover:
but that would boring to leave it that raw metal so i masked off where the gaskets go:
then laid on the gold 500 degree paint
removed masking:
primered and painted my crank pulley:
primered my front bumper and hood (not pictured)
painted the bottom of my hood textured metallic black:
engine should be in next week when my stage 1 hybrid ka cam (Intake 270 duration, .443" Lift
Exhaust 272 duration, .448" Lift) and OEM style gasket set come in.
UPDATE 8/6/06
so yea ive been doing a lot of stuff.
got a new window, cleaned car, painted wheels, and RON hella fixed my quarter panel. thanks thanks. other than that its little **** like cleaning the engine blah blah.
and i got this done:
probably the coolest part on my car.
and i will be making more supar flushu bulb kovar. under the name of:
dont hate my sexy garage.
oh and i got me one of these

thanks for all the comments guys, im in the process of taking apart the motor and replacing some stuff as well as painting the head/block/valve cover and polishing the intake mani, replacing headgasket and stuff. does anybody know some good like cleaning solvent that i could soak my parts in to rid of all the gunk and paint thats affordable and reasonable to do in my garage?
that would be SIICCKkk i wanna go carbed so bad...but theres the issue of gas milage and im not sure what to use and i have little knowledge on carburaters. time for some research. but im seriously considering doing ITBs with some parts off af a bike.
