I saw That car at Hot import nights, I believe it is Candy Apple Red. The orange in the picture was caused by the setting sun. looks real nice though doesn't it. He probably had a gold base coat aswell so I hope I helped.

ya, alot. I work in a autobody shop so i'm about to paint my car. Gold base coat is a good idea, candy is expensive though and my car is outside all the time so It would fade eventually, I found a red mettalic almost that color, I will use the gold base coat though or maybe a silver one. Thankx

Hey, drftr d i am in the dfw area and was wondering what kind of prices you charge for paint work. Im not looking for anything great I just want to return the car to its original color. Which was the Azteec Red or however its called. Thanks
