I've been trying to decide what colors to do on a 240 S13 coupe, and basically gotten it narrowed down to several options. What I for sure want to do is install a body kit, wide fender flares, good wing, and then paint it. I used to want to do black with red secondary, but EVERYONE seems to do black and red, because, Ill admit, its hot. Anyways, these are the options I have in mind:

1- Black gloss paint with gold secondary (stripe down both sides, decals, etc.)

2- Black gloss paint with orange secondary

3- Dark gray metallic paint with orange secondary

I like the black idea, especially with the gold, because it would look ultimately sick with carbon fiber if I ever go as far as to get CF items. However, I've seen a really sweet metallic gray and orange 350z, and think the look would be awesome on my 240. Then that got me thinking of black with orange, and I just cant decide! All sound great to me, and I just finally needed a little help deciding because it is tough, as you know if you have ever painted a car, to make a final decision on such a project.

i've always been partial to dark colors.
my dad maxima is dark green and it looks great.

 

yeah i guess that is pretty sweet, on someone elses car, greens dont really happen to be my color. I dunno, it is an idea, i might have to consider it. i appreciate the posts nonetheless, thx

 

trust me, in the long run you'll be glad you went with green and not orange.

yeah another thing you should check out is northwestnissans.com if u already havnt, its all Wa, OR and a few ID, good sight tho, u shoud drop in

and personally im laening toward the black and gold idea the most, my only brob is i dont know if theres any real way to deal with spiderweb scratches common with black cars

 

i'll look into nw nissan in a few minuets i've been wanting to join a local forum for some time now.

about the color what ever you choose is fine as long as you're happy after all it's your car.

 

ALSO, while I still got people looking into this thread (i really really appreciate all the input you guys have given great ideas and insight) how hard do you guys think it would be to install 300zx Z32 headlights on an S13? I know it would take a little bit of fiberglass, but I dont know if the dimensions are anywhere near close or anything, hopefully someone else knows more. I thought it would be a unique alternative to the pretty common s14 fromt conversion

 

I think super made or someone makes a headlight replacement similar to the 300zx but imo it looks like ***...keep the popups we are a dying breed
