I live near Knoxville, TN. Anyone know of/recommend any good shops that could do a SR20DET swap around here?

i wouldnt trust anyone around TN. You're just as well off doing it urself. Just buy a front clip.

or you can ship your car off to NY, which was my case

 

Well that's harsh.. you can drive up to VA to JGYCustoms, I've heard nothing but good about them. Only a 3, max 4 hour drive.

You might want to check out Motor Mavericks in bristol, TN. I've never actually been inside the shop just drive past it every now in then. but one owner has a 97-98 240 and another has a r34. i'd say they have a good web site to look at.
