Boost drop off problem's hre may be your answer
ok well it wasn't thee boost controller it was my f'in ebay filter it was to restrictive i changed it out for a high flow one from auto zone and oh my god . 9psi til well over 6000rpm At a 10to 1 afr .So if your having problems with boost drop off test your filter before you crazy spending money ;over all i spent well over 600.00 dollars due to trying to fix boost leaks and blowing up turbo seals to buying 2 types of boost controllers . (which i recommend a vbc or a ebc . ) hope this help others in this problem .VBC is a air regulator like turbonetics and treadstone make . And EBC is electronic boost controller
Well the boost controller you picked up was a must. You did have the wrong kind of controller on there even if that wasn't all of your problem. It could have easily became a problem later on. Hopefully by next race season I'll get around to putting my turbonetics controller on and I'll show up where you are and we'll have to run them...finally.
It seems as if your car is down, mine isn't. And if mine is, yours isn't. Funny how that works isn't it. Next season!! I've got a hand full of months before the scca season starts over.
