with this it output should be about 220-230 whp.... think you will have to upgrade to at least the t28 injectors and a rom tune to hit 300hp...

I'd recommend
GT2871R
550cc injectors
SAFC (atleast) for tuning
Z32 MAF

But if you do decide to upgrade the turbo, you will have to get the exhaust and fmic.

10-12 pounds is fine, I run 18. It's just the turbo's efficiency that you will have to worry about. After 14psi, it's pretty much a heater and will soon detonate. You still won't be at 300horses with just those upgrades though. If you want to reach that level, you will either have to build internals, or upgrade your turbo. The SR20 motor is good up to 400hp on the stock block (no internal modifications), so you will not have to worry about the motor messing up. As long as you're not redlining whenever you can, and pushing it all the time, the motor will last you a long time.

By the way, once you start building, you will never think it's enough. Set a goal for yourself and once you reach that level, enjoy it, don't bother trying to build the fastest car around, because that will only bring you trouble. You also have to remember - with each new modification, new problems will appear. So be prepared to spend a little more than you were expecting, always have back-up money left over so you don't have to keep the car down long when something does go wrong.

i know what you mean.. but i have my limitations for this year lol..

eventually if i can keep the car long enough i would like to swap different motors just to mes around

but my real reason is that.. i used to have the fastest car among my friends then it all went to ****

my brother got a twin turbo 300zx my friend got a skyline r33 gt-r another friend has a 1jz supra and now im at the back of the line...

I think another important question is how much are you willing to spend? Most of the suggestions are moderate in price and wont kill you too much. But you can easily spend way more than whats expected on just a select few parts. So before anything, you should figure out what your budget is, then move forward from there. That would be just my .02 cents =) Good luck on hitting your numbers though!
