*noob here* how many inches can i lower...
hey guys. i'm new to the whole 240 scene here so i need a whole lot of help.
i just bought a 91' hatchback SE about two months ago. i recently bought rims they're 16x7 +38 all around covered in 205/55/16. i already put them on and i noticed that my 13 is higher then stock now due to the plus sizing and now i need to lower it.
i've already decided to go with something simple for daily commute and occansional mountain drives. i pretty much have my mind set on KYB GR2s. as for the springs i still have no idea, i want something that has a good spring rate not just something to slam the hell out of my car. i also don't know how much i can lower my car because of my offset and 55 series tires.
my friend suggested that i get the Tanabe Sustec GF210 springs. the spring rate is 20-30% over stock. and the drop is 1.5 in front and 1.0 in rear. all of this i found out from Tanabe.
but my question still remains, how many inches can i lower my 13 by with a +38 offset and 55 series tires? also if anyone knows, are the Tanabe Sustec GF210 springs anygood?
thanks in advanced for all of your help guys, much appreciated.

koni yellows own when it comes to shocks, as for springs just look for a spring rate that suits what you would like, the rsr's are good like concepts14 said. But i would highly recommend saving up for some coilovers, also not to sound like a dick, but your wheel size/offset is kinda weak for a rwd, may want to consider something different, if you want to stay with a 16x7 then you should be more around a 0-10 offset.
