Hello everyone. I am going to upgrade my rims this summer from my stock 205/60/15" rims and tires to 17" rims. Can you guys give me some help in understanding what tire size i will need to buy to keep my speedo the same? Also if anyone has good links to tire and rim companies it would also be most appreciated.

17 x what width?

btw 215 and 225 are your biggest two choices for 17's in general. if you got a wide width it different.

thanks Waynehead 05 for the link to the tire calc...that makes things seems to clear alot of things up.

I don't know what width, one of the reasons i posted my messagein the first place.

If you have some suggestions it would be appreciated. I would like to keep stock style shocks. Will not be putting coilovers on but will be putting on some whiteline springs and Koni Shocks. That will lower the car about 1.5 inches or so. But for the moment i am stock in the suspension department.
