Is the 300z brake upgrade just for the front brakes or the front and rear ?

You can do the rear also, but since its a little more difficult people just upgrade the rear rotors, pads and lines

You have to run the whole hub assembly from the 300ZX or Skyline. It's the easiest anyway. I used a R33 rear end and transfered the LSD, axles, hubs, and calipers all over to a 240 subframe.

would the Z axels fit on a 240? I mean are they long enuff? I kno the LSD'll fit in, which is also wut Im salvaging from my Z... but is it possible to use the Z axels? or could I reuse my S14 axels?

Z axles are too long for the S chassis.

And, you don't need to swap over EVERYTHING to get the benefits of rear Z brakes. The calipers and rotors will bolt to the S rear spindles. If you're 4 lug, you'll need to modify the rotors to accept the 4 lug pattern. And, the calipers bolt right up. Now, if you want to keep an e-brake, thats an entirely different story.

How did you install your Ebrake cable? I did a rear Z32 with ebrake conversion on S14. Now i have a problem installing the ebrake cable. Does anyone has a better way to install the ebrake cable? Insteal of cutting and clip them together? Plase HLEP buntavy@yahoo.com

Wow, resurection of the dead thread, lol. Seems like you've been searching. Check forums and junkyards for the parts you need.

You dont need the WHOLE essebley. I just use the dust shield and all the brake components.

front brakes just require the Z32 rotors, Calipers and Z32 to S__ brake lines...and then the removal of the dust shield.

the rears you can just bolt on the Z32 calipers, Rotors, and Z32 to S__ brake lines BUT you lose your ebrake. for the ebrake to work you need the Z32 drum brake assembly. and then you remove the dust shield.

Umm the drum brake essembly is connected to the dust shield you can trim it but it is needed.
