4 and 5lug ? downsides

i was wondering if there is any down sides on having a 4 lug instead of 5 lug hubs on a s14 i know there are more rims for five lug patterns and im also going to put 300zx calipers on it which you would have to get the rotors redrilled to 4 lugs but is there any other downsides.

4 lug most wheels ****ty sizes, brake upgrades need rotors redrilled, both like you have said, any downsides to 5 lug? Not really that I can think of...

then im just gonna get some cheap rims from rota which look nice any recommendations on offset for s14. i want a size that wont be rubbing because i dont want to pull the fenders nor do i want rims that are sunk in the fender the sizes i want are 16" and 7 inch wide in the front and 8 wide in the rear if you wanna look at it its the slipstream ones http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.php

if you REALLY want the slipstreams get the 16X8 +48 offset and 40 mm spacers.

5 lugs on a S14 is cheaper then S13.

Just buy the SE hubs and you'd be set.

..since you're doing the 300zx brakes, might as well make it 5 lugs.

You'll hate it when you can't find decent rims for the 4 lugs.

I got my 5lugs hubs + S14 K's Brakes (300zx) for merely $300....

that's cheap..

if you're doing z brakes it's a given to go 5 lug

lol, 5 lug = more weight
pimp rims can be had in 4x144.3, see custom volk, work, j-line

I figured instead of paying money for a conversion to use that to get better wheels. Would I like to be 5-lug yes, but I would probably just buy more rims and get into trouble.

yeah when i saw rota p45f's in 5 lug i had to get a 5 lug conversion they're like 550 on ebay and the wheels are 800 in change. but i agree that s13's do look good in 15's i didn't want to rag on 15's but on s14's they look kinda fruity (especially with the wrong offset and stock ride height lol)
