Wow never seen those before; I'm assuming those are for people who aren't going to go with a full-on roll bar or cage.

It's hard to tell from that pic where the mounting points are - but I don't see that thing adding any noticeable rigidity. Seems more like an appearace item.

well the description does say "Some drilling is required for installation."

Maybe they're trying to triangulate the B pillar to the floor rail. IMO it doesn't look like it helps that much.

well it looks like it mounts to the b-pillar and then to the floor which in turn should stop the b-pillar from flexing. and it looks sweet too.
i think that after you have done upper and lower strut bars front and rear, and front and rear sway bars, tie rods, camber plates, control arms and a middel stress bar i think the the b-pillar bar would finish up the rigitity issue quite nicely.

If it were a larger tube with a straight shot from the pillar to the floor I may believe it's function.... this looks like a blue coat hanger with a bend where it should be straight.

Unless there is some hidden engineering magic, I'm going to have to stick with my original verdict - appearance mod.

I agree... the "triangle" formed by the B pillar, floor, and this bar should be larger. If that B pillar bar were (for example) to reach oward the center of the floor, then maybe.

yes but the small bar that goes up from the floor the the curved part of the other par on top prevents it all from flexing

So you're saying that curved bar will withstand the flex of the much larger (and thicker) chassis?

Sorry, I'm not convinced. You can spend the $200 and let us know. Heh.
