hey no need to get all upset . . . you did ask what is the cheap way in lowing your car after all . . . i would suggest Tein or megan lowering springs. anyways thats my 2cents

why is he an idiot? because of the cut springs, comparison of spring rates, or the part of wasting the money part? i agree with the first and the ladder part of his statement. idk about the spring rates though.

OK...calm down. You can simply say he is wrong without insulting.

He is in fact wrong though. I always advise against cut springs as it is a very bad idea. Spring rates are determined by the thickness of the metal, strength of the metal, diameter of the complete unit, angle of the coil, bumber of coils, etc. To say that a cut stock spring would be anything similar to an eibach is incorrect.

Decent used springs can be had for under 100 with good new springs ranging from 100-200. Spend the money or don't lower you car

Cutting the springs will screw the spring rate all to hell. That's why he's an idiot.
