Brake Help Needed

I am having a really big problem with my brakes. The brakes are sticking really bad. Its to the point I dont have to really touch the brakes to slow down. I dont know exactly what would be causing this but I do know it cant be good!

also there is a really bad shake in the car! Im thinking it is the struts and/or shocks but am not possitive, is there any way to check w/out taking it apart?

One more thing, is it posible/likely for the springs to be bad on my car? It is a 1990 Fastback just incase it helps. Thanks,

-Craig-

Yah, that's a given. But what's causing them to not return, like they're suppose to? Make sure that you're e-brake is releasing all the way. Also, make sure that your slide pins are properly lubricated. And, make sure the pad clips are lubricated. Also, make sure that none of your brake hoses are collapsed.

There are a number of things that could cause your problem.

As far as the vibration, when does it doing? (at certain speeds, while braking, etc?)

It starts to rattle and shake like hell at the middle to top of ever gear. I know it is suspension because the shake is all in the steering wheel. it does it the worst around 55. I think some of it may be in the brake situation. Im going to have a mechanic take a look and tell me what they think is going on.
