Brake Line Threading

This may sound like a silly question, but which way loosesn the fitting on the brake line and hard line? Does it follow the normal "righty tighty, lefty loosy" or is it opposite? I've worked on some cars where is has been opposite.

Thanks!

no its should follow lefty loosy, righty tighty.

Use flare nut or box end wrench, never use open. You could strip them and that would ruin your day.

Thanks for the help. I got the lines off just fine with the flare nut wrench. Now onto my next challenge, getting a broken bolt out of the caliper bracket
