brake pedal heavy

Guys,

I had my friend drive my 1990 ka and he said that the brake pedal got super heavy and the brake light warning came on. He said he pulled over and the brake fluid was full. Does anyone have any ideas on what happned? if i had a bad brake booster wouldn't that cause the car to have a soft pedal?

Thanks,
Sid

no, a bad boost would make the car have a super heavy pedal or you would need to pump it a few times to get the brakes to work.

go to another car and pull out the brake boosters vacuum plug it and try the brakes.. but do it carefully when driving..
this would show u how it feels to not have a brake booster... or you can roll down a hill and stopmp the brakes a few times.. u notice that since there is no vacuum that the brakes get super stiff and hard to stop cause u cant push it hard enough
