clearing Z32 30mm brakes??

a 8" wide rim with a offset of 30mm should clear it right, does anyone know if the ford cobra rims fit over the Z32 brakes??

yea i know that the S14 rims fit over them

It MIGHT. Its more on the style of the rim, you might have a 15+ offset on a 8" rim but the spoke design wont let you clear big brakes.

rim design is all about it...most FWD type rims won't work with our cars. the best rims for our cars IMO are Volks, Advan and some 5zigen.

volks and advans are too expensive unless you can hook me up , i have a bad problem finding like a 16x8 rims that i like, Kosei i think is alright but i dont know if they fit over the the Z32 brakes, so i thinking if doing the Q45 brakes now so i have alot more rim choice with the 5 lug conversion

yeah 16x8 is hard to find unless you go with Volk or Advan. i have looked cuz i wanted a very light wieght wheel, low rotating mass, and the right width w/offset. the closest i have found is the F0n1r -c's by 5zigen. go to www.hopupracing.com and you can get them there really cheap.

from what ive been lookin at....it seems like people have mixed thoughts on this. ive heard that theyll fit without a problem and some other people are runnin 5mm spacers. is it just the turbo wheels in the back that cause a problem over the NA's?
thanks if anyone can clear this up....i wanna stay away from spacers

wow, im glad i found this thread because, ive been thinking about this alot, so yes S14 and Z32 rims clear the 30mm brakes? also, like what is the average minimum offset needed to clear the brakes, like an avergae number
thanks

its all about how wide the rims is and spoke style, go to www.az240sx.com or az240.com something like that in a tech article or info it gaves you a offset idea

alrite so i guess you can use the NA z32 wheels on s14's with no spacers. the tt ones have issues with wider tires though
